Dear friends, family, and supporters of all things Quesada!

The most absurd thing has happened recently - I have found myself with an adult child! Grace worked diligently to earn her GED through Bellingham Technical College in January and is now registering and preparing to start college classes this fall- which means it is time to celebrate! Together with Epic Celebrations, we are planning a surprise party for Grace at our home on Saturday, June 15th, 2024. We invite you to join us in celebrating Grace’s achievement!

Our intention for this special gathering is to welcome Grace to adulthood and help build a strong communal foundation under her as she moves forward with her goal of moving out of our family home in the next year.  With this in mind, we are asking each of you to submit your best adulting advice for Grace by Jun 6, 2024. Share what you wish you’d known when you first moved out! Your words of advice will be compiled into a small book as a gift to Grace, and during the gathering, each guest will be asked to read their advice aloud in a casual ceremony welcoming her to adulthood. You can send your submissions to info@epiccelebrationsnw.com.

We have compiled an Amazon wishlist for Grace that includes a few items she’d love to have to help get her started with life on her own. We will also share her Venmo account, but to avoid raising questions, please do wait to send your gift until the day of the party!

Thank you all for your continued support! For my kids, going through the rest of their lives (and especially these big milestone moments) will always be a bit bittersweet without their biggest cheerleader, their dad. You lift them up and help to soften the sharp edges of loss with your presence. I am so grateful to you all!
